Market outlook
Stock market: Yesterday VN-Index increased by 5 points; then, today VN-Index decreased by 8.57 points. The index opened with a rise to 1500, but was immediately pulled back by profit-taking pressure. After struggling fiercely in the 1490-1495 area, the sellers gained control and pushed the VN-Index to close at the lowest level of the session: 1485.82. Market breadth tilted to the negative side with 7/19 sectors gaining; 16/30 stocks in the VN30 were covered in red. Regarding the transactions of foreign investors, today they were net buyers on the HSX and net sellers on the HNX. In the coming sessions, VN-Index is likely to accumulate more in the area of 1480-1490 points.
Future contracts: Futures contracts are differentiated, with two futures contracts VN30F2206 and VN30F2201 dropping points, the others increasing. Investors should be cautious in the coming sessions.
Covered warrants: In the trading session on December 29, 2021, most warrants differentiated when the underlying stocks were tending to correct.
