Stock market: Today's market continued to be a gaining session after a spring-like bounce of nearly 40 points yesterday. After surpassing MA50, selling pressure appeared, but VN-Index still remained in a light green color, adding hope to the investors. In addition to the support of Banks, the index was further supported by the Oil and Gas sector with an increase of over 3%. This is also the sector that gained the most in 11/19 gaining sectors today. Foreign investors continued to keep net buying on HSX and turned to be net buyers on HNX after yesterday's slight net selling session. From a technical analysis point of view, VN-Index closed above MA50 with the appearance of Bullish Engulfing candlestick pattern, helping to strengthen the belief about the balance point around MA50, equivalent to the threshold of 1480. This is the best scenario for the market to accumulate and help VN-Index continue the uptrend after the upcoming Lunar New Year holiday.

 

Future contracts: The uptrend of VN30 has led to an increase in the score of futures contracts. Investors can look to buy short-term.

 

Covered warrants: In the trading session on January 26, 2022, most warrants increased according to the movement of the underlying stock.

• VN-Index +2.00 points, closing 1,481.58 points. HNX-Index +1.59 points, closing 411.82 points.

• Pulling the index up: GAS (+1.31), VPB (+1.13), PLX (+0.84), CTG (+0.79), MBB (+0.67).

• Pulling the index down: MSN (-1.80), VCB (-1.57), BID (-1.16), PDR (-0.40), VCG (-0.36).

• The matching value of VN-Index reached VND 21,929 billion, up 7.2% compared to the previous session. The total transaction value reached VND 23,502 billion.

• The fluctuation range is 12 points. The market had 225 gainers, 37 reference stocks and 239 losers.

• Foreign investors' net buying value: VND 319.64 billion on HOSE, including CTG (VND 211.31 billion), KBC (VND 134.74 billion), LPB (VND 118.56 billion). Foreign investors were net buyers on HNX with the value of VND 13.41 billion.
