Market outlook
Stock market: VN-Index twice experienced the pattern of 3 black crows with increasing volume, showing that the market sentiment has been negative. The index was forced to drop continually by selling pressure throughout today's session. Although at nearly the end of the session, it gained once but still could not escape the fate of being suppressed. At the end of the session, VN-Index closed at 1432.6, down nearly 26 points compared to the previous session. Market breadth was skewed to the negative side with almost all sectors dropping sharply; many stocks in the blue. Regarding the transactions of foreign investors, today they slightly net bought on the HSX and net sold on the HNX. In the coming sessions, in a bad case, the market is likely to continue to drop to the threshold around 1420.
Future contracts: Futures contracts all fell in line with the movement of the VN30. Investors should trade cautiously in the next session.
Covered warrants: In the trading session on April 18, 2022, warrants continued to decline sharply following the movement of the underlying stock.
