Detailed report

Market outlook

Stock market: After two slightly gaining sessions, VN-Index returned to the selling trend in today's session. The drop increased strongly in the afternoon session with fear spreading in the market. Market breadth was skewed to the negative side as only 1/19 industries gained. Regarding foreign investors, they continued to be net sellers on both HSX and HNX. The fear, low demand and weak liquidity show that VN-Index is still in the bottom-finding trend and may continue to find a new balance at the support level of 1200 points.

Future contracts: Futures contracts all dropped according to the movement of the VN30 index. It is recommended that investors trade cautiously or wait for a better market period.

Covered warrants: In the trading session on May 12, 2022, warrants fell sharply in line with the movement of the underlying stock.
