Strong bottom-fishing demand

MARKET OUTLOOK
The VN-Index continued its upward momentum today, gaining over 12 points to close at 1,470.42. Market breadth skewed positive, with 14 out of 18 sectors advancing. Leading the gains were Personal & Household Goods, Real Estate, Automobiles & Auto Parts, and Retail. Regarding foreign trading activity, foreign investors recorded slight net buying on the HSX exchange and net selling on the other two exchanges. Today's candlestick with a long lower shadow is a positive signal, indicating strong bottom-fishing demand during market pullbacks. In the upcoming sessions, the index is expected to maintain its momentum and may continue trading within the 1,480 – 1,500 range.

• Foreign investors' net buying value: VND 128.17 billion on HOSE, including VPB (VND 185.66 billion), FPT (VND 64.76 billion), MWG (VND 54.21 billion), FUEVFVND (VND 54.14 billion), DXG (VND 44.36 billion). Foreign investors were net sellers on HNX with the value of VND -53.27 billion.
