BSC Brief | 22.07: Buying demand was strong in the 1,490–1,500 range

MARKET OUTLOOK
In contrast to yesterday's correction session, the VN-Index surged strongly today, gaining over 24 points to close at 1,509.54. Market breadth leaned toward the positive side, with 17 out of 18 sectors posting gains—Real Estate, Financial Services, and Industrial Goods & Services all rising over 3%. Regarding foreign trading, this group recorded a net selling value of around VND 1.8 trillion on the HSX. Although the index has yet to break through the 1,510 level, bottom-fishing demand around the 1,490–1,500 zone remains solid. In the coming sessions, the index may continue to trade within the 1,490–1,510 range to establish a new price base.

• Pulling the index down: VPL (-0.20), TCB (-0.16), GVR (-0.14), HNA (-0.07), BMP (-0.04).
• The matched trade value of VN-Index reached VND 30,512 billion, decreased -7.19% compared to the previous session. The total transaction value reached VND 33,832 billion.
• The trading range is 32.93 points. The market had 224 gainers, 43 remaining unchanged, 103 losers.
• Foreign investors' net selling value: VND -1751.32 billion on HOSE, including VJC (VND -1858.67 billion), SSI (VND -228.06 billion), SHB (VND -155.44 billion), PDR (VND -101.67 billion), GMD (VND -60.26 billion). Foreign investors were net buyers on HNX with the value of VND 21.11 billion.
