Market outlook
After trading within the range of 1,210 – 1,220 throughout the morning, the VN-Index made a strong upward move in the afternoon session and closed at 1,223.64 points, up over 15 points from yesterday. The market breadth was positive, with 16 out of 18 sectors advancing, led by the Information Technology and Retail sectors, followed by the Financial Services sector. As for foreign trading, today they had a slight net buy on the HSX and a net sell on the HNX. In the upcoming sessions, the market needs a clear bullish candle with supportive liquidity to break through the resistance zone of 1,220 – 1,225 in the ascending triangle pattern.
