BSC Brief | 11.08: VN-Index rises in a probing move

MARKET OUTLOOK
The tug-of-war trend continued to dominate today. The VN-Index closed at 1,596.86 points, gaining nearly 12 points compared to yesterday. The market breadth was on the positive side with 15 out of 18 sectors gaining, led by the Chemicals sector, followed by the Insurance, Construction and materials sector,... In terms of foreign trading, net selling was recorded on the HSX and UPCOM, while net buying occurred on the HNX. Although the VN-Index continues to reach new highs, the market remains in a tug-of-war state. Investors should remain cautious in their trading.

• Foreign investors' net selling value: VND -621.61 billion on HOSE, including HPG (VND -192.98 billion), FPT (VND -122.92 billion), GEX (VND -102.13 billion), DGC (VND -68.40 billion), DPM (VND -61.84 billion). Foreign investors were net buyers on HNX with the value of VND 21.61 billion.
