MARKET OUTLOOK
The tug-of-war trend remained dominant today. The VN-Index closed at 1,611.60 points, up more than 3 points from yesterday. Market breadth was relatively balanced, with 11 out of 18 sectors advancing, led by Media and Insurance. On the foreign trading front, net selling occurred across all three exchanges, notably around VND 1.5 trillion on the HSX. The VN-Index formed another bullish hammer candle, indicating that overall market sentiment still supports the index’s upward momentum despite ongoing choppiness.

Futures contracts had mixed performances: VN30F2509 and 41I1G3000 increased while 41I1F8000 and VN30F2512 decreased.

Foreign investors were net sellers on HNX with the value of VND -34.95 billion.
