BSC Brief | 28.08: The VN-Index consolidated at the peak range

MARKET OUTLOOK
The VN-Index fluctuated within the 1,660 – 1,685 range throughout today before closing at 1,680.86 points, up more than 8 points compared to yesterday. Market breadth leaned positive with 14 out of 18 sectors advancing, led by Financial Services, followed by Retail. In terms of foreign trading, investors recorded net selling on the HSX and UPCOM, while net buying on the HNX. Today’s long lower shadow candle indicates bottom-fishing demand emerged around the 10-day SMA. In the coming sessions, the VN-Index may continue to consolidate and find equilibrium in the 1,660 – 1,700 range.
