MARKET OUTLOOK
The VN-Index traded sideways below the 1,690 level (equivalent to Fibonacci 0.5) and closed at 1,673.66 points, down slightly by more than 5 points compared to the previous session. Market breadth tilted negative, with 11 out of 18 sectors declining, led by Chemicals as the worst-performing sector. On the upside, Media recorded the strongest gains. Regarding foreign trading activity, foreign investors posted slight net buying on the HSX and UPCOM, while remaining net sellers on the HNX. Today’s session reflected cautious market sentiment, as the rebound stalled after just one session and liquidity remained low. In the near term, the market needs to break above the 1,680–1,695 zone to confirm a short-term recovery.
