Detailed report

MARKET OUTLOOK
The VN-Index rose to 1,721 points in the morning before afternoon selling pressure pushed it down to 1,689.84 points (-16.07 points,-0.94%). Despite falling below 1,700, market breadth remained positive, with 162 advancers versus 133 decliners and 12 out of 18 sectors gaining. Automobiles & parts led the gains, followed by oil & gas and travel & leisure. Real estate declined the most, dragged by VIC (-10.22 points) and VHM (-0.95 points), which together accounted for nearly 70% of the index's decline. Foreign investors continued net selling across HOSE, HNX, and UPCoM. Despite pressure from large cap stocks, broad-based sector gains suggest relatively resilient market sentiment. The VN-Index is approaching the lower Bollinger Band (1,680 points), with RSI (29.54) entering oversold territory. The index may stabilize around 1,670–1,680 points before a technical rebound toward 1,700 if selling pressure on heavyweights eases.
