MARKET OUTLOOK
The VN-Index fluctuated within the 1,788–1,799 range and closed at 1,798.61 points, down slightly by more than 5 points compared to the previous session. Market breadth tilted negative, with 13 out of 18 sectors declining, led by Personal & Household Goods, followed by Retail and Information Technology. On the other hand, the Chemicals sector extended its gains with another strong session. Regarding foreign flows, investors recorded net selling across all three exchanges—HSX, HNX, and UPCOM. The VN-Index continues to form a base around the 1,800 level. With capital rotating rapidly across sectors, investors are advised to maintain a cautious trading stance.

All VN30 futures contracts declined in line with the movement of the VN30 index.

• Pulling the index up: GVR (+1.29), KBC (+0.37), SAB (+0.29), STB (+0.28), BVH (+0.21).
• Pulling the index down: VHM (-1.99), VJC (-0.55), HPG (-0.48), MWG (-0.40), FPT (-0.39).
• The matched trade value of VN-Index reached VND 9,359 billion, decreased -13.75% compared to the previous session. The total transaction value reached VND 10,187 billion.
• The trading range is 13.35 points. The market had 118 gainers, 68 remaining unchanged, 178 losers.
• Foreign investors' net selling value: VND -504.34 billion on HOSE, including NVL (VND -52.50 billion), VHM (VND -47.85 billion), VIC (VND -41.26 billion), TCB (VND -33.88 billion), VPB (VND -33.63 billion). Foreign investors were net sellers on HNX with the value of VND -4.60 billion.
