BSC Brief | 17.07: VN-Index sees wide intraday swings

MARKET OUTLOOK
VN-Index fell by nearly 17 points today to close at 1,787.45. Market breadth turned negative, with 15 out of 18 sectors declining. The Oil & Gas sector led the losses, while Personal Goods & Household Products, Food & Beverage, and Automobiles & Parts were among the few sectors that finished in positive territory. Regarding foreign trading activity, foreign investors recorded net selling across all three exchanges: HOSE, HNX, and UPCOM. The market continues to trade in a volatile manner amid weak liquidity, suggesting that downside risks remain. Investors are advised to remain cautious until the market stabilizes, establishes a new equilibrium, and confirms a clearer trend.
