BSC Brief | 28.09: Market remains cautious around the support zone

MARKET OUTLOOK
VN-Index declined at the open and traded above the 1,763 level before recovering in the afternoon session. The index closed at 1,780.68 points, down more than 4 points from the previous session. Market breadth was negative, with 13 of 18 sectors declining. Personal & Household Goods led the losses, followed by Financial Services. In contrast, Insurance and Oil & Gas gained more than 5%. Foreign investors were net sellers on HSX and net buyers on HNX and UPCOM. The market is moving toward filling the upward gap at 1,768–1,778; however, bottom-fishing demand around 1,765 provided some support, albeit still weak. Market sentiment remains cautious, while the near-term outlook continues to be difficult to predict.
