Highlights
• The indexes increased in the openning but quickly suffered from profit taking pressure. The selling force became stronger at the end of session made the market fluctuated.
• The leaders were VNM (+2.18 points), ROS (+0.69 points), MSN (+0.38 points), HNG (+0.14 points) and SAB (+0.12 points).
• The laggards were VCB (-2.11 points), PLX (-1.56 points), HPG (-1.56 points), GAS (-1.54 points) and CTG (-1.09 points).
• Many penny stocks hit the ceiling price. Rubber stocks also had positive gains. However, it was difficult to outperform the profit taking pressure.
• The order matching value of VN-Index in this session reached VND 6,187 billion. The trading range for today was 23.38. Market breadth was balance with 143 advancers and 149 decliners.
• Ending the trading session today, VN-Index dropped 8.03 points, closed at 1,112.26 points. Along with that, the HNX-Index decreased 1.73 points to 125.6 points.
• Foreign investors today were net buyers of VND 84.49 billion on HOSE, concentrated on DXG (VND 53.8 billion), VIC (VND 52.1 billion) and VRE (VND 46.0 billion). In addition, they sold a net of VND 29.14 billion on HNX.
 

Market Outlook
The stock market continued to shake sharply after the recovery session. Bluechip stocks divided strongly when only some stocks increased to remain the support such as VNM, SAB, VIC. The money poured into the penny stocks helped this group hit the ceiling price. BSC believed that the market is in the phase of division and there is no clear recovery trend. Besides, the agreement on CPTPP is expected to officially be signed in Chile on March 8, however, the information will slightly affect the market sentiment. Indexes will likely continue to fluctuate. Investors continue to observe and wait for information from the upcoming shareholers meeting.
