Highlights
• Market index continued to go up to 1,130 point. At the end of the trading session, the number of declining stocks exceeded advancers, making the market only slightly increased compared to the last trading day of last week.
• The leaders were GAS (+ 2.94 points), BID (+1.69 points), CTG (+1.43 points), VCB (+1.32 points) and MSN (+ 0.47 points).
• The laggards were VIC (-3.38 points), VNM (-1.06 points), PLX (-0.76 points), VPB (-0.55 points) and NVL (-0.21 points).
• The banking group was the main driver of the strong gains from the beginning of the session. However, the correcting pressure from the large cap made the market unable to breakout.
• The trading value of VN-Index in this session reached VND 5.912 billion. The trading range for today was 11.5 points. The market recorded 129 gainers and 169 losers.
• Ending the trading session today, the VN-Index gained 2.88 points, closing at 1,126.29 points. In addition, the HNX-Index gained 1.48 points to 129.06 points.
• Foreign investors today were net buyer VND 668.64 billion on HOSE, focusing on PDR (VND 374.3 billion), VIC (VND 144.3 billion) and VRE (VND 127 billion). In addition, they net sold VND 1.72 billion on the HNX.
 

Market Outlooks
In the first trading session of the week, the market increased following by the global market trend. Bank stocks led the market up with prominent stocks such as CTG, VCB, STB and BID. However, the uptrend was narrowed, causing the index to fail to maintain its peak due to strong division in stock groups. Particularly, large cap stocks decline dragged the index strongly such as VNM, BMP, VIC. The market maintained the green color at the end of the session but could not conquer the peak. BSC believes that the shake will continue to appear when the market is still waiting for the consensus and greater growth momentum to break through.
