Highlights
• Today session, the market still fluctuated with average liquidity. Ending the session, the positive momentum returned to help VN-Index regain lost points from last weekend.
• The leaders were VIC (+4.15 points), BID (+3.19 points), MSN (+3.00 points), VCB (+2.63 points) and SAB (+2.07 points).
• The laggards were HPG (-1.39 points), PLX (-0.99 points), GAS (-0.91 points), VRE (-0.90 points) and EIB (-0.29 points).
• VN30 increased thanks to some key stocks such as MSN, VIC, VJC. In the opposite direction, Petroleum stocks were under strong selling pressure.
• The order matching value of VN-Index in today session reached VND 5,804 billion. The trading range for today was 26.44 points. The market recorded 146 gainers and 138 losers.
• Ending the trading session today, VN-Index gained 17.63 points, closing at 1,171.22 points. In addition, the HNX-Index rose 1.79 points to 133.67 points.
• Foreign investors today were net sellers of VND 146.75 billion on HOSE, focusing on HPG (VND 219.3 billion), VRE (VND 42.2 billion) and VNM (VND 21.2 billion). In addition, they sold a net of VND 64.91 billion on the HNX.
 

Market Outlook
The recovery of the key stocks helped the market regain momentum in today trading session. The large cap stocks such as VIC, VJC, MSN increased sharply to play a leading role in the market. Banking and Securities stocks also rebounded to support the indexes. In the opposite direction, Steel stocks were under strong selling pressure from foreign investors. Similarly, Petroleum stocks fell sharply due to the information of "Red Dragon Fish" project. BSC believed that psychological prudence still existed when trading focused on key stocks with liquidity has not improved. Besides, the strong selling pressure increases in the peak area causing the market continue to shake.
