Highlights
• VN-Index increased in the morning session. In the afternoon session, the gaining momentum was widened.
• Stocks contributed to VN-Index upward momentum including VCB (+1.88 points); CTG (+0.83 points); PLX (+0.77 points); BID (+0.66 points); GAS (+0.63 points).
• Stocks made the market decline including HPG (-0.16 points); POW (-0.11 points); MSN (-0.1 points); SAB (-0.1 points); BHN (-0.08 points).
• The matching value of VN-Index today reached VND 3,017.3 billion. Today's trading range is 13.36 points. The market has 184 gainers and 119 losers.
• At the end of today's trading session, VN-Index increased 9.49 points to close at 959.18 points. However, HNX-Index increased 1.29 points to 105.06 points.
• Foreign investors today sold a net of VND 10.46 billion on HOSE, focusing on VHM (VND 75.83 billion), VNM (VND 58.2 billion) and HDB (VND 11.89 billion). In addition, they sold a net of VND 2.2 billion on HNX.

Market outlook
In the morning, the VN-Index increased with the buying force focused on banking bluechips such as VCB, SAB, TCB, BID, CTG and oil and gas stocks such as PLX and GAS. In the afternoon session, the gaining momentum was widened and closed at 959.18 points because the buying force continued to increased in stocks above. Foreign investors net selling on HOSE while liquidity improved compared to the previous session. In BSC's view, the domestic and regional markets continue to have the second consecutive strong recovery session, showing the positive sentiment of investors before the Fed is ready to cope with risks to growth of America and the world economy by the ability to lower interest rates as early as July this year
