20210621_BSC_Vietnam Daily Review_A corrected session_TA_ POW_Consolidating

Stock market: VNIndex maintained green color in the morning session but quickly corrected in the afternoon. Investment cash flow weaken compared to the peak session when only 7/19 industry groups gained. Meanwhile, foreign investors were net sellers on both HSX and HNX. Besides, market breadth turned negative with a slight decrease in liquidity compared to the previous session. BSC maintains the view that the market will move in the range of 1350 -1390 points. Investors can take advantage of this correction to restructure their portfolio with an increased weight on good fundamental stocks. 

 

Future contracts: All future contracts decreased following VN30. Investors might consider buying for short-term contracts 

 

Covered warrants:  In the trading session on June 21, 2021, majority of coverred warrants decreased following underlying securities. Trading value decreased.

• VN-Index -5.14 points, closing at 1372.63. HNX-Index -2.49 points, closed 316.24.

• Pull the stat up: NVL (+1.78); PLX (+0.75); MSN (+0.71); MWG (+0.63); FPT (+0.39).

• Pulling the index down: VCB (-1.94); BID (-1.27); CTG (-0.92); VNM (-0.86); HPG (-0.82).

• The matched value of VN-Index reached VND 20,443 billion, -2.3% compared to the previous session. The total transaction value reached VND 22,651 billion.

• The fluctuation range is 13.89 points. The market had 173 gainers, 39 reference stocks and 232 losers.

• Foreign investors' net selling value: VND -1098.85 billion on HOSE, including NVL (VND -362.2 billion), HPG (VND -336.0 billion) and VNM (VND -95.8 billion). Foreign investors were net sellers on HNX with the value of VND -33.72 billion.
