Market outlook
Stock market: The market today experienced a declining session. The buying force and selling force continuously struggled; however, the sellers overwhelmed and pushed the VN-Index down more than 9 points compared to yesterday, closing at the lowest level of the day. The VN30 basket was in the red; however the market breadth was balanced, showing that the cash flow is pouring into the group of small and medium stocks. In today's trading session, there were 7/19 gaining days, led by Personal & Household Goods. Regarding the transactions of foreign investors, today they were net sellers on both HSX and HNX. The market is likely to continue to accumulate in the short term.
Future contracts: Except for futures contract VN30F2203, all other futures contracts corrected slightly according to the underlying index. Investors can look to buy short-term futures contracts.
Covered warrants: In the trading session on October 21, 2021, warrants showed signs of slight increase when the market maintained a struggling trend. Transaction value decreased sharply.
