Market outlook  

Stock market: In today session, the market continued to set a new peak thanks to the positive driving force from yesterday although sometimes VN-Index corrected due to the pressure of profit taking. Market breadth remained positive with advancers twice as many losers. Of the 15 out of 19 industries that gained points today, the Telecommunications industry had a remarkable increase of nearly 7%, twice as much as the industry ranking second in terms of Electricity, water & petroleum. Tomorrow, VN-Index may correct but will still maintain a movement around 1420 points. Regarding the transactions of foreign investors, today they continued to be net buyers on the HSX and net sellers on the HNX.

 

Future contracts: All futures contracts corrected according to the underlying index. Investors should trade cautiously in tomorrow's trading session.

Covered warrants: In the trading session on October 28, 2021, most warrants increased according to the positive growth momentum of the underlying securities. Transaction value increased slightly by 22.26%.

• VN-Index +14.99 points, closing 1,438.01 points. HNX-Index +6.70 points, closing at 411.07 points.

• Pulling the index up: VCB (+1.74), GAS (+1.66), MSN (+1.53), NVL (+1.52), BCM (+0.93).

• Pulling the index down: HVN (-0.23), PDR (-0.22), PLX (-0.16), VRE (-0.12), HPX (-0.11).

• The matched value of VN-Index reached VND 24,538 billion, up 4% compared to the previous session. The total transaction value reached VND 26,186 billion.

• The fluctuation range is 21.5 points. The market had 295 advancers, 58 reference stocks and 138 decliners.

• Foreign investors' net buying value: VND 621.65 billion on HOSE, including HPG (194.90 billion), GAS (107.29 billion), DXG (105.77 billion). Foreign investors were net sellers on HNX with the value of VND -23.62 billion.
