Stock market: The market today experienced an increase of more than 13 points. Although at the end of the morning session, the VN-Index corrected slightly due to profit-taking pressure, but then thanks to overwhelming buying, VN-Index moved to close at a new peak of 1,452.46. Today's liquidity decreased compared to that of the previous day; however market breadth tilted to the positive side as the number of advancers doubled the number of losers, showing that cash flow was concentrated in certain stocks. Among 15/19 sectors that gained today, the Chemical industry had the strongest increase of over 4%. In the upcoming sessions, VN-Index is likely to maintain its uptrend and move to new highs and higher. Regarding the transactions of foreign investors, today they continued to net sell more than VND 1000 billion on the HSX.

 

Future contracts: All futures contracts decreased according to the base index. Investors can consider selling short-term futures contracts.

 

Covered warrants: In the trading session on November 2, 2021, warrants showed signs of significantly decrease in the context of the underlying securities’s strong growth. Transaction value decresed.

• VN-Index +13.49 points, closing 1,452.46 points. HNX-Index +8.57 points, closing at 424.11 points.

• The index pulled up: GVR (+3.01), VCB (+0.86), VHM (+0.79), EIB (+0.54), SAB (+0.54).

• Pulling the index down: NVL (-0.56), VNM (-0.42), HPG (-0.23), MWG (-0.20), VRE (-0.17).

• The matched value of VN-Index reached VND 26,998 billion, down 15% compared to that of the previous session. The total transaction value reached VND 28.852 billion.

• The fluctuation range is 14.30 points. The market had 302 advancers, 48 reference stocks and 151 losers.

• Foreign investors' net selling value: VND -1119.28 billion on HOSE, including NVL (-567.24 billion), NLG (-141.02 billion), and SSI (-91.29 billion). Foreign investors were net sellers on HNX with the value of VND -23.92 billion.
