Stock market: So the market got out of the 1500 zone after many stuck sessions; today VN-Index bounced back to 1470. The morning session took place with a fierce struggle, but as soon as the afternoon session entered, the sellers were monopolized the market and pushed the index down. After some exciting sessions on the trading floor, the stocks that benefited from the increase in commodity prices such as Oil and Gas, Steel, Fertilizer, etc., all met strong profit taking. Other stocks such as Banks and Securities were also sold following the market's decline. Market breadth tilted to the negative side with 16 out of 19 sectors dropping. Foreign investors today net sold more than 1500 billion on the HSX. VN-Index is having unpredictable moves in a wide range due to complicated global market movements. Maybe the market will be quiet in the next few sessions, or maybe there will be money flowing in the market to catch the bottom and push the index up.

 

 

Future contracts: Futures contracts all decreased according to the movement of the VN30 index. Investors should trade cautiously in the coming sessions.

 

Covered warrants: In the trading session on March 8, 2022, the majority of warrants dropped shaftly according to the movement trend of the underlying stock.

 

• VN-Index -25.34 points, closing 1473.71 points. HNX-Index -6.98 points, closing 445.89 points.

• Pulling the index up: VJC (+0.40), FPT (+0.24), MSN (+0.18), HVN (+0.17), SAB (+0.17).

• Pulling the index down: VCB (-3.96), GAS (-1.86), HPG (-0.84), VHM (-1.75), MBB (-1.11).

• The matched value of VN-Index reached VND29,758 billion, down -0.12% compared to the previous session. Total transaction value reached VND34,518 billion.

• The trading range was 22.26 points. The market had 95 gainers, 34 reference stocks and 340 losers.

• Foreign investors' net selling value: VND-1521.29 billion on HOSE, including HPG (-220.7 billion), GEX (-105.6 billion), VCB (-105.3 billion). Foreign investors were net sellers on HNX with the value of -VND26.08 billion.
