Market outlook

Stock market: After a struggling session, VN-Index could not conquer the threshold of 1300. The index closed at 1288 points, almost unchanged from yesterday. Market breadth tilted to the negative side with only 8 /19 sectors gaining. Regarding the transactions of foreign investors, today they were net sellers on both HSX and HNX. The market still hesitated when facing the resistance level of 1300. In the next few sessions, the index might continue fluctuating around 1280-1300 in order to wait for the cash flow to push the index up.

Future contracts: Futures contracts mostly rallied according to the movement of the VN30. The current volatility of VN30 is suitable for investors to implement short-term trading strategies during the session.

Covered warrants: In the trading session on June 3, 2022, warrants decrease according to the movement of the underlying stock.

Highlights:

VN-Index -0.64 points, closing at 1287.98 points. HNX-Index -1.30 points, closing at 310.48 points.
Pulling the index up: GAS (+2.68), MWG (+1.06), FPT(+0.59), VPB (+0.57), SAB(+0.36).
Pulling the index down: VCB (-1.76), GVR (-0.78), NVL (-0.68), MSN (-0.53), BID (-0.44).
The matched value of VN-Index reached VND 11.448 billion, down 16.24% compared to the previous session. The total transaction value reached VND 12.912 billion.
The trading range is 16.41 points. The market had 149 advancers, 68 reference stocks and 290 losers.
Foreign investors' net selling value: VND -182.97 billion on HOSE, including GAS (VND -37.81 billion), HPG (VND (-37.81 billion), VCB (VND -21.23 billion). Foreign investors were net sellers on HNX with the value of VND -696.31 million.
