MARKET OUTLOOK
VN-Index spent the entire session attempting to break above the 1,900 threshold but was unsuccessful. By the close, the VN-Index ended at 1,879.13 points, up more than 14 points from the previous day, with the main contribution coming from Vin-related stocks. Market breadth was fairly balanced, with 8 out of 18 sectors posting gains. Regarding foreign trading activity, foreign investors recorded net selling on both the HSX and HNX, while posting a slight net buy on the UPCoM. A tug-of-war sentiment continues to dominate the market; in the coming sessions, the VN-Index will likely need to narrow its trading range to form a tighter base.
