BSC Brief | 28.01: The correction phase continues

MARKET OUTLOOK
The VN-Index extended its decline by nearly 28 points today, closing at 1,802.91 points, with losses mainly driven by Vin-related stocks. Decliners outnumbered advancers, although 10 of 18 sectors posted gains, suggesting that capital is rotating in search of short-term profit opportunities. Regarding foreign flows, foreign investors recorded net selling of more than VND 1.7 trillion on the HSX today. In the coming sessions, the VN-Index may continue to retreat to test the 50-day SMA, and investors are advised to trade cautiously.

• Foreign investors' net selling value: VND -1787.27 billion on HOSE, including VCB (VND -404.52 billion), VIC (VND -371.68 billion), VNM (VND -240.05 billion), ACB (VND -207.26 billion), MWG (VND -199.67 billion). Foreign investors were net buyers on HNX with the value of VND 20.02 billion.
