BSC Brief | 11.02: The rally lacked support from liquidity

MARKET OUTLOOK
The VN-Index surged nearly 43 points in today’s session, closing at 1,796.85. Market breadth was strongly positive, with 15 out of 18 sectors advancing. The Real Estate sector led the gains, primarily driven by VIC, followed by Insurance. Regarding foreign flows, foreign investors were net buyers across all three exchanges, with net buying exceeding VND 2 trillion on the HSX alone. Despite the sharp advance, the rally was not supported by strong liquidity. Investors should therefore remain cautious in the coming sessions this week.

• Foreign investors' net buying value: VND 2089.24 billion on HOSE, including MBB (VND 1408.52 billion), VPB (VND 162.57 billion), MWG (VND 120.34 billion), MSN (VND 105.30 billion), BID (VND 92.97 billion). Foreign investors were net buyers on HNX with the value of VND 51.44 billion.
