Detailed report

MARKET OUTLOOK
The VN-Index experienced significant volatility during today’s session, at one point declining by more than 2% before bargain-hunting demand returned, helping the index close at 1,818.27, up 5.13 points from the previous session. Decliners outnumbered advancers, with 12 out of 18 sectors posting losses. Industrial Goods & Services and Chemicals recorded the steepest declines. On the other hand, Oil & Gas continued to rise strongly. Regarding foreign trading activity, foreign investors were net sellers across all three exchanges: HSX, HNX, and UPCOM. Bargain-hunting demand was relatively solid during the session, helping the index maintain its position above the 50-day SMA. However, we maintain a cautious trading stance as the market remains highly volatile and has yet to show a clear reversal signal following the sharp declines in recent sessions.

FUTURES CONTRACTS
The futures contracts tended to decline in line with the movement of the VN30, except for contracts 41I1G4000 and 41I1G3000.

COVERED WARRANTS
During the trading session on 04/03/2026, covered warrants mostly fluctuated strugglingly.
