MARKET OUTLOOK
The VN-Index fluctuated within the range of 1,688–1,717 before closing at 1,696.24 points, down more than 13 points compared with yesterday. Market breadth was quite balanced, with 12 out of 18 sectors declining, led by Oil & Gas, followed by Chemicals… On the other hand, Automobiles & Parts and Construction & Materials recorded positive performance. Regarding foreign investor activity, foreign investors recorded net selling across all three exchanges: HSX, HNX, and UPCOM. The VN-Index is still seeking a balance point within the 1,650–1,730 range, while market sentiment remains unstable, as reflected in the large trading range. Investors should trade cautiously during this period.
