MARKET OUTLOOK
After a volatile trading session within the range of 1,684.47–1,706.15, the VN-Index closed at 1,694.82 points, down more than 8 points compared to the previous session. Market breadth tilted negative, with 14 out of 18 sectors declining, led by Media, Insurance, and Banking, all down more than 1.3%. On the upside, the Real Estate sector recorded a positive performance. Regarding foreign trading activity, foreign investors posted net buying across all three exchanges (HSX, HNX, and UPCOM), with notable net purchases of nearly VND 3 trillion on HSX. The VN-Index is facing resistance as it returns to the 1,700–1,725 range; in the coming sessions, the index may form a new consolidation base within the 1,700–1,710 range.
