BSC Brief | 10.04: The market is showing signs of establishing a new price base around the 1,750 level

MARKET OUTLOOK
The VN-Index fluctuated within the 1,745 – 1,765 range before closing at 1,750, up more than 13 points from the previous session. Market breadth leaned positive, with 11 out of 18 sectors advancing, led by Oil & Gas, followed by Media and Chemicals, among others, while Insurance posted the steepest decline. Regarding foreign flows, net buying was recorded on the HSX and HNX, while net selling was observed on UPCOM. The market is showing signs of forming a new price base around the 1,750 level.

• Pulling the index down: VHM (-0.78), BVH (-0.51), HPG (-0.40), FPT (-0.22), VPX (-0.16).
• The matched trade value of VN-Index reached VND 22,105 billion, decreased -5.45% compared to the previous session. The total transaction value reached VND 24,679 billion.
• The trading range is 13.88 points. The market had 164 gainers, 65 remaining unchanged, 144 losers.
• Foreign investors' net buying value: VND 839.66 billion on HOSE, including TCB (VND 217.98 billion), HPG (VND 179.64 billion), MBB (VND 100.53 billion), VNM (VND 93.89 billion), MSN (VND 71.62 billion). Foreign investors were net buyers on HNX with the value of VND 24.21 billion.
