BSC Brief | 15.04: Vingroup stocks lead today’s market rally

MARKET OUTLOOK
The VN-Index rose by 25 points and closed at 1,800.65, driven mainly by gains in Vingroup-related stocks, while overall market trading remained subdued. Market breadth tilted negative, with 14 out of 18 sectors declining, led by Basic Resources, Media, and Retail. On the upside, Real Estate and Travel & Leisure increased by around 5%. Regarding foreign trading activity, foreign investors recorded net selling of approximately VND 3.5 trillion on HSX, while posting net buying on HNX and UPCOM. This type of uneven upward movement is unlikely to be sustained; investors should trade cautiously in the coming sessions.
