BSC Brief | 21.04: The market needs more time to stabilize

MARKET OUTLOOK
The VN-Index fluctuated within the range of 1,831–1,867 before closing at 1,833.48 points, down nearly 4 points compared to the previous session. Market breadth tilted negative, with 15 out of 18 sectors declining, led by a sharp drop in the Information Technology sector. On the other hand, the Real Estate sector posted a positive performance. Regarding foreign flows, investors recorded net selling on both HSX and HNX, while net buying was observed on UPCOM. The market has yet to stabilize, and investors are advised to maintain a cautious stance in the near term.

• Foreign investors' net selling value: VND -384.35 billion on HOSE, including FPT (VND -171.15 billion), VCB (VND -123.99 billion), MSB (VND -107.89 billion), SSI (VND -79.66 billion), ACB (VND -69.86 billion). Foreign investors were net sellers on HNX with the value of VND -46.87 billion.
