BSC Brief 05.05. Capital continues to rotate across sectors in search of short-term profit opportunities.

MARKET OUTLOOK
The VN-Index gained nearly 21 points today, primarily driven by Vin-related stocks. Market breadth remained negative, with 12 out of 18 sectors declining, led by Chemicals, followed by Insurance and Personal & Household Goods. On the other hand, the Oil & Gas sector posted the strongest gains, followed by Real Estate. Regarding foreign flows, investors recorded net selling on HSX and UPCOM, while net buying was observed on HNX. The VN-Index is experiencing strong volatility at elevated levels alongside low liquidity; investors are advised to adopt short-term trading strategies in line with market fluctuations.

FUTURES CONTRACTS
Most VN30 futures contracts increased in line with the movement of the VN30 index, except for 41I2GC000, which showed a declining trend.

During the trading session on 05/05/2026, most covered warrants fluctuated in line with the sideways movement of the underlying stocks.

• Pulling the index up: VIC (+12.71), VHM (+8.51), VPB (+1.83), BSR (+1.68), VPL (+1.10).
• Pulling the index down: VCB (-1.40), GVR (-0.70), NVL (-0.57), ACB (-0.53), HPG (-0.48).
• The matched trade value of VN-Index reached VND 18,965 billion, increased 11.63% compared to the previous session. The total transaction value reached VND 22,395 billion.
• The trading range is 26.65 points. The market had 97 gainers, 57 remaining unchanged, 213 losers.
• Foreign investors' net selling value: VND -995.75 billion on HOSE, including ACB (VND -426.42 billion), HPG (VND -284.55 billion), FPT (VND -133.89 billion), VCB (VND -87.44 billion), KDH (VND -71.65 billion). Foreign investors were net buyers on HNX with the value of VND 14.88 billion.
