BSC Brief | 15.05: The market is experiencing volatility near its previous peak

MARKET OUTLOOK
After fluctuating within the 1,908–1,931 range throughout the session, the VN-Index closed at 1,921.60 points, down nearly 4 points from the previous day. Market breadth tilted negative, with 13 out of 18 sectors declining, led by Retail, followed by Personal & Household Goods. On the other hand, the Oil & Gas, Utilities, and Chemicals sectors posted positive performances. Regarding foreign flows, investors recorded net selling on HSX and UPCOM, while net buying was observed on HNX. Low liquidity indicates that the market still lacks sufficient momentum to decisively break above its previous peak.
