BSC Brief | 22.05: Liquidity continued to decline, reflecting cautious market sentiment

MARKET OUTLOOK
The VN-Index experienced significant volatility during the session, at one point falling to an intraday low of 1,856.08 points before recovering to close at 1,877.13 points, down 19.76 points from the previous session. Market breadth tilted heavily negative, with 16 out of 18 sectors declining, led by Oil & Gas and Industrial Goods & Services. Regarding foreign flows, investors recorded net selling across all three exchanges—HSX, HNX, and UPCOM, including net sales of more than VND 3 trillion on HSX alone. The market is currently trading within the 1,850–1,930 range; however, the close below the MA10 suggests that selling pressure remains present and a corrective move may occur. Investors are advised to trade cautiously.
