MARKET OUTLOOK
After a volatile trading session, the VN-Index closed at 1,886.03 points, up nearly 9 points compared to the previous session, mainly driven by Vin-related stocks. Market breadth tilted negative, with 9 out of 18 sectors declining, led by Oil & Gas, which fell more than 5%, followed by Chemicals and Insurance. On the other hand, the Travel & Leisure sector posted a positive performance. Regarding foreign flows, investors recorded net selling across all three exchanges—HSX, HNX, and UPCOM, including net sales of around VND 2 trillion on HSX. The VN-Index has moved below the SMA20 with weak liquidity, and investors are advised to maintain a cautious trading stance during this period.
