BSC Brief | 02.06: The VN-Index is likely to retest the SMA50 in the next one to two sessions

MARKET OUTLOOK
The VN-Index continued to decline by more than 18 points today, closing at 1,826.47 points. Market breadth remained negative, with 15 out of 18 sectors posting losses, led by Oil & Gas, followed by Financial Services. On the other hand, the Insurance, Information Technology, and Media sectors traded positively. Regarding foreign flows, investors recorded net selling across all three exchanges—HSX, HNX, and UPCOM. Over the next one to two sessions, the VN-Index may continue retreating toward its SMA50 support level. Investors are advised to maintain a cautious stance, as market sentiment remains weak.

• The matched trade value of VN-Index reached VND 16,374 billion, increased 42.62% compared to the previous session. The total transaction value reached VND 19,505 billion.
• The trading range is 36.36 points. The market had 87 gainers, 52 remaining unchanged, 226 losers.
• Foreign investors' net selling value: VND -546.47 billion on HOSE, including HPG (VND -124.36 billion), HDB (VND -122.22 billion), ACB (VND -118.70 billion), CTG (VND -105.85 billion), VPB (VND -103.14 billion). Foreign investors were net sellers on HNX with the value of VND -17.16 billion.
