BSC Brief | 30.06: VN-Index retests its 50-day SMA

MARKET OUTLOOK
The VN-Index gained more than 5 points today, closing at 1,860.01. Market breadth was relatively balanced, with 9 out of 18 sectors ending in positive territory. Media rose by more than 2%, while Basic Resources declined by over 1%. The remaining sectors showed no significant moves, reflecting a clear tug-of-war sentiment in the market. Regarding foreign trading activity, foreign investors recorded net selling on HSX and UPCOM, while posting mild net buying on HNX. The VN-Index has returned to a sideways movement around the 1,855–1,860 range and is testing its 50-day SMA.
