BSC Brief | 06.07: Low liquidity, with selling pressure emerging in the afternoon session

MARKET OUTLOOK
The VN-Index fell by 18.58 points today and closed at 1,843.50 points. Market breadth skewed negative, with 16 out of 18 sectors declining. Oil & gas led the losses, followed by chemicals. On the upside, media and information technology posted gains. Regarding foreign trading, foreign investors recorded net selling across all three exchanges: HSX, HNX, and UPCOM. Selling pressure increased toward the end of the session. We expect the market may move toward the support zone around 1,820 points. Investors should trade cautiously.

• Foreign investors' net selling value: VND -2794.11 billion on HOSE, including VIC (VND -2253.18 billion), SHB (VND -95.33 billion), MSN (VND -69.87 billion), VHM (VND -67.89 billion), SSI (VND -66.61 billion). Foreign investors were net sellers on HNX with the value of VND -25.84 billion.
