MARKET OUTLOOK
After fluctuating within the 1,842–1,856 range, the VN-Index closed at 1,853.70, up slightly by more than 5 points from the previous session. Market breadth skewed positive, with 14 out of 18 sectors gaining, led by Oil & Gas, followed by Automobiles & Parts. On the downside, Information Technology declined by more than 1%. Regarding foreign trading, foreign investors net sold on HSX and HNX, while slightly net buying on UPCOM. The VN-Index may continue to retest its previous resistance around 1,875 in the short term; however, given the currently weak liquidity, the recovery is likely to be accompanied by volatility.

 

FUTURES CONTRACTS
Futures contracts rose across the board, tracking the movement of the VN30 Index.

 

COVERED WARRANTS
During the trading session on 08/07/2026, most covered warrants fluctuated in line with the sideways movement of the underlying stocks.

• VN-Index +5.45 points, closing at 1853.7 points. HNX-Index +6.65 points, closing at 300.39 points.
• Pulling the index up: BSR (+0.93), VIC (+0.65), VPL (+0.62), VCB (+0.53), GAS (+0.52).
• Pulling the index down: LPB (-0.44), FPT (-0.39), TCX (-0.26), MCH (-0.22), GEE (-0.16).
• The matched trade value of VN-Index reached VND 14,770 billion, increased 22.67% compared to the previous session. The total transaction value reached VND 17,227 billion.
• The trading range is 13.55 points. The market had 172 gainers, 76 remaining unchanged, 128 losers.
• Foreign investors' net selling value: VND -546.94 billion on HOSE, including PNJ (VND -215.29 billion), MSN (VND -184.52 billion), VHM (VND -131.67 billion), VPB (VND -123.57 billion), TCB (VND -112.32 billion). Foreign investors were net sellers on HNX with the value of VND -48.78 billion.
