BSC Brief | 03.08: VN-Index rebounded by more than 27 points today

MARKET OUTLOOK
The VN-Index gained more than 27 points today to close at 1,762.84. Market breadth was broadly positive, with 17 out of 18 sectors advancing. The Information Technology sector led the gains, followed by Insurance and Personal & Household Goods. Regarding foreign trading activity, foreign investors recorded net buying of more than VND1 trillion on HOSE, while remaining net sellers on HNX and UPCOM. Although today's recovery was broadly supported across sectors, weak liquidity suggests that buying conviction remains limited. At the same time, the VN-Index has yet to break above the previous resistance level of 1,760. Investors are advised to maintain a cautious trading stance.

During the trading session on 03/08/2026, most covered warrants moved in line with the rebound of the underlying stocks.

• Pulling the index down: VIC (-1.75), MCH (-0.87), VNM (-0.26), VHM (-0.09), TCX (-0.06).
• The matched trade value of VN-Index reached VND 16,471 billion, increased 3.16% compared to the previous session. The total transaction value reached VND 19,296 billion.
• The trading range is 30.32 points. The market had 126 gainers, 49 remaining unchanged, 200 losers.
• Foreign investors' net buying value: VND 1057.15 billion on HOSE, including FPT (VND 524.28 billion), HPG (VND 283.36 billion), VCB (VND 136.37 billion), MBB (VND 89.42 billion), FRT (VND 88.65 billion). Foreign investors were net sellers on HNX with the value of VND -18.93 billion.
