Detailed report

MARKET OUTLOOK
VN-Index traded in a narrow range of 1,805–1,817 today and closed at 1,810.11 points, virtually unchanged from the previous session. Market breadth was negative, with 11 of 18 sectors declining, led by Media and Travel & Leisure. In contrast, the Chemicals sector posted a positive session. Foreign investors were net buyers across all three exchanges, including HSX, HNX and UPCOM. Although the short-term uptrend from the late-July 2026 bottom has shown no signs of reversal, market sentiment remains mixed as VN-Index trades around the 1,800 level, indicating that near-term risks remain. Investors should continue to trade cautiously.
