BSC Brief | 29.09: Market remains range-bound, with the SMA50 continuing to provide support

MARKET OUTLOOK
VN-Index fluctuated below the 1,782 level throughout today’s session before closing at 1,777.73 points, down nearly 3 points from the previous session. Market breadth was positive, with 13 out of 18 sectors gaining. Utilities and Chemicals rose by 1.09% and 2.28%, respectively. In contrast, Personal & Household Goods fell by nearly 3%, while the remaining sectors showed no significant movements. Regarding foreign trading, foreign investors were net sellers on HSX and UPCoM, while recording net buying on HNX. The long lower shadow candlestick indicates that the VN-Index successfully tested the SMA50 for another session. However, cautious sentiment continued to dominate the market.
