BSC Brief | 06.11: Selling pressure remains strong at resistance levels

EQUITY MARKET

Early selling pushed the VN-Index down to 1,713 points before bottom-fishing demand helped narrow losses, with the index closing at 1,725.36 (-15.37 points, -0.88%). Market breadth skewed negative, with 16 out of 18 sectors declining, led by information technology, chemicals, and real estate. Only media and financial services posted gains. Foreign investors resumed net buying on HOSE and HNX but net sold on UPCoM. Technically, despite improved trading volume during the rebound from 1,700 points, selling pressure remains strong near resistance levels. We expect the market to trade sideways within the 1,715–1,750 range.

• Foreign investors were net buyers of VND +46.10 bn on HNX and net sellers of VND -4.28 bn on UPCoM.
