VN-Index continues to consolidate within a narrow range

MARKET OUTLOOK
The VN-Index increased by more than 4 points today, closing at 1,307.8 points. Market breadth was relatively balanced, with 9 out of 18 sectors posting gains, led by the Basic Materials sector. In terms of foreign trading, foreign investors were net sellers on both the HSX and HNX today. The bottom-fishing at the 1,300 level has been quite strong in recent sessions. In the upcoming sessions, we maintain the view that the VN-Index could continue to move towards the 1,315 level, but this may be accompanied by some fluctuations.

• Pulling the index up: VCB (+2.30), HPG (+1.09), VHM (+0.35), HSG (+0.20), CTG (+0.19).
• Pulling the index down: VNM (-0.44), BID (-0.41), GAS (-0.22), FPT (-0.17), GEE (-0.15).
• The matched trade value of VN-Index reached VND 17,721 billion, increased 14.30% compared to the previous session. The total transaction value reached VND 18,701 billion.
• The trading range is 11.44 points. The market had 237 gainers, 90 remaining unchanged, 215 losers.
• Foreign investors' net selling value: VND -637.88 billion on HOSE, including STB (VND -187.17 billion), TPB (VND -95.40 billion), VCB (VND -94.81 billion), VNM (VND -90.74 billion), MSN (VND -74.29 billion). Foreign investors were net sellers on HNX with the value of VND -17.60 billion.
