BSC Brief | 07.09: VN-Index corrected but remained above the moving averages

MARKET OUTLOOK
The VN-Index declined amid volatile trading throughout the session and closed at 1,821.64 points, down more than 31 points from the previous session. Market breadth tilted negative, with 17 out of 18 sectors declining. Real Estate posted the steepest loss, mainly due to a correction in VIC, followed by Retail and Personal & Household Goods, among others. Regarding foreign trading activity, foreign investors were net sellers on HOSE and HNX, while recording net buying on UPCOM. As the market remains driven by a limited group of stocks and trading lacks broad-based consensus, volatility may persist over the next one to two sessions, particularly if the market approaches the previous peak zone of 1,870–1,900 points.
