BSC Brief | 26.06: The VN-Index successfully tested the SMA50 today

MARKET OUTLOOK
After a sluggish morning session, the VN-Index became more active in the afternoon and closed at 1,871.91 points, up nearly 9 points from yesterday. Market breadth skewed negative. Eight out of 18 sectors advanced, with real estate and media gaining more than 1%. On the downside, chemicals posted the steepest decline of more than 2%, followed by oil & gas. Regarding foreign trading, foreign investors recorded net buying on HSX and UPCOM, while net selling on HNX. Although a positive signal was that the VN-Index successfully tested the SMA50 in today’s session, low liquidity makes the next trend difficult to predict. Investors should continue to trade cautiously during this period.

• Foreign investors' net buying value: VND 331.20 billion on HOSE, including VHM (VND 379.27 billion), VIC (VND 119.88 billion), POW (VND 75.32 billion), ACB (VND 67.44 billion), NLG (VND 51.54 billion). Foreign investors were net sellers on HNX with the value of VND -15.33 billion.
