MARKET OUTLOOK
VN-Index fluctuated within the 1,815–1,840 range during today’s session before closing at 1,831.56 points, up 10.24 points (+0.56%) from the previous session. Market breadth was negative, with 10 out of 18 sectors declining. Oil & Gas posted the steepest loss, followed by Personal & Household Goods and Chemicals. In contrast, Real Estate led the gains. Regarding foreign trading, foreign investors were net buyers on HSX and UPCoM, but net sellers on HNX. The index formed a bullish candle and closed above the upper Bollinger Band (1,825.77 points), indicating that short-term upward momentum remains intact. However, trading liquidity fell below the 20-session average, reflecting cautious sentiment and a “rally amid skepticism” as investors remained reluctant to chase prices higher. VN-Index may see some volatility and retest the 1,820–1,825 support zone before advancing toward the 1,850–1,860 resistance area.
